How do I broadcast my telephone presentation?

All presenters will dial in to the Presenter Bridge number and enter the Passcode listed in the Broadcast Controls area of the Live Studio.  Once a telephone line has been connected to the Presenter Bridge, you will see the Presenter count update below the bridge. The Presenter Bridge can then be connected to the Webcast Audio Server using the Connect Bridge to Webcast button.

The Presenter Bridge section shows 0 presenters connected to the bridge and the Connect Bridge To Webcast button

Once the Presenter Bridge has been connected to the Webcast Audio Server, a message will be displayed on your screen and the Start Webcast button will appear. The connection process can take up to two minutes to complete. You will remain in a private sub-conference until you click the Start Webcast button to begin your presentation.

In the pop-out window, click the play button to preview the audience stream on the event before going live. This allows you to ensure the Presenter Bridge audio is coming through loud and clear before starting the presentation. The audio preview will stream through your computer speakers or a headset. If you encounter issues with Presenter Bridge during the presentation, click Switch Audio Source to Alternate Bridge on this screen to access the Backup Bridge for the presentation.

Each event will include a Backup Bridge to allow to switch the event's audio source in case there are issues with the Presenter Bridge. In order to switch to the Backup Bridge, dial in to the Backup Bridge number and enter the Passcode displayed. Once a telephone line has been connected to the Backup Bridge, you will see the Presenter count update below the bridge. Click Connect to prepare the bridge for broadcast. If you need to switch to the Backup Bridge during the event, click Set as Webcast Audio Source to switch the event's audio source. Other presenters in the Live Studio will be prompted to disconnect from the Presenter Bridge and dial into the new Backup Bridge in order to connect their telephone line.

If you will be using an external operator-assisted phone bridge for the event, all presenters will dial into the bridge number included in your call confirmation details and not the Presenter Bridge from the Live Studio. The event's host will need to provide the operator with the Presenter Bridge and Passcode from the Live Studio to allow the operator to dial out to the Presenter Bridge. Once the Operator has joined the Presenter Bridge to the conference, the bridge will list 1 Presenters on the bridge and the audio can then be connected in the Live Studio using the Connect Bridge to Webcast button. You will remain in a private sub-conference until you click the Start Webcast button to begin your presentation.

When using an operator-assisted phone bridge, it is recommended to provide the operator with the Backup Bridge information in addition to the primary Presenter Bridge. This allows the operator to dial out to both phone bridges for the presentation. In case of issues with the primary Presenter Bridge, the event can easily be switched to the Backup Bridge to ensure your broadcast is not interrupted.
