What are overlay videos?

Share pre-recorded video content with your audience during an audio or video presentation. Showcase demos, commercials, sponsor videos, or promotional videos. During the Live event, overlay videos are manually sent by a presenter in the Live Studio from the Overlay Videos tab. The videos display over the entire presentation, with slides and audio paused in the background. Questions can still be submitted on the Live and On-Demand events if this feature has been enabled.  You can include up to 10 overlay videos in your event.

Overlay videos must contain an audio and video track and be at least 15 seconds in duration. Supported file types include: 3GP, ASF, F4V, MKV, MOV, MP4, MPEG, MPG, WEBM, and WMV.

Overlay Videos can be uploaded at any resolution (ex. 1080p), but that video will stream at 896kbps to viewers. The larger the dimension of the video, the lower the quality of playback. If you want to use a high-resolution file, please review the quality of the uploaded file to make sure it meets your standards. If it does not, you need to decrease the dimensions of the file.

You must upload overlay videos before your presentation on the Event Content page of the setup in the Media Clips section.
